Disneyland, beach, zoo, woo-hoo!! Life is crazy for us right now! All we want to do is play but it's a little hard when you're trying to manage a house building project. Dang that thing we call responsibility. I feel like I'm on the phone constantly talking to contractors, on the computer recording bids, or running errands for the house. We are very excited about building our first house together in Forest Falls but man is it a lot of work! Steve is always at school whether he is the teacher or teachee. Then he has his calling at church, study groups for his Masters test, and other things that never cease to pop up so I'm pretty much on my own when it comes to this whole house thing. He does what he can but you can only do so much in 24 hours! We have still had some fun though. Some of the fun things we have done the past two months are.......
A trip to Balboa Beach where we rode to New Port

Don't they look cute!!!!

and finished off by roasting marshmallows.

Aunt Sandy Pants tried to keep Emmitt warm.

Steve tried to keep Eliza warm while she ate yet another marshmallow.

Jaron loved catching the marshmallows on fire before he ate them. (GROSS!!!)
Another trip to the San Diego Zoo (Every time I saw or write "San Diego Zoo" I hear Melman from Madagascar)

They loved the elephants (and every other animal.)

Steve with a Hippo statue....not quite sure why we took this pic.

Aunt Sandy Pants and I take a shot in front of our favorite animal, the panda bear. This was her first time seeing them so we had to capture the moment.(Yes we are adults but it is still exciting)
Jaron started swim lessons

So this was his first week of swim lessons that did not go so good. His teacher scared the daylights out of him. Now we are with a new teacher he likes and he has progressed a lot but he still needs to work at it.
Train Days at the Museum

We barely made it for this fun activity because of a ton of other obligations having to do with the house but we told Jaron we would go so we made sure we made it. He loves trains, we couldn't miss it!
JARON TURNED 4!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Birthday to my baby!!!! Where did the time go?So Jaron was sick on his original party date so we changed it to the weekend of Valentines day. It worked out perfect because a lot of his cousins were planning on staying the night anyways because their parents had to go out of town to a wedding. So we had a slumber party the night before the party. It was a weekend event to say the least. 9 kids for the majority of the weekend. I don't know how Steve's mom ever did it. My hat goes off to her.

The kids making funny faces!

Uncle Ben with a Superman party mask on.

The Party!

The Cake! I love to do the cake. It stresses me out but I love the creativity of it. This is Jaron's Superman cake he requested. "I want one with a Superman on it, flying in the sky above the stuff."

The Big Wish!!!!
Disneyland with Grandma, Aunt Sarah, and Julia!
We actually got there at a decent time. I was surprised that I got it all together
before our designated time to leave.

Jaron loving every minute of Disneyland!

Aunt Sarah and cousin Julia were in town.
My kids love Julia probably more then Sarah would like them to.

Eliza was so nervous around all the characters but as long as Jaron or I were right there should could manage not necessarily with a smile but she dealt. She's had to wear her Princess shirts or been playing princesses since the trip so I know she liked it even if she was a little shy at the time.

Emmitt was so good. It's always the happiest place on earth for this little baby no matter where we are.
One more little note......

Emmitt is crawling everywhere and standing up on everything. I can't keep up with him. He bonks his head all the time. I try to save him but I turn around for a minute and he has used something else to help him stand up. When he bonks his head now he just keeps on going. It scares me to death.
