Eliza Turns Three!!!!

Happy Birthday Eliza!
My little girl is growing up too fast and it honestly makes me cry. I know it is ridiculous but I love toddlers (Yes they drive me just as nuts as they do everyone else but they usually make me laugh more than anyone else can too) and she is looking less and less like one everyday which makes me sad. Three years ago today I brought my first baby girl home not having any idea how to handle a girl and now it's been three years in a blink of an eye. I'm scared to blink again. Now Emmitt on the other hand I can't blink fast enough but that is for another time. Eliza is so fun and beautiful. She makes me laugh with her crazy ways. I 'm sad to see her get big but am glad I get each day to see her smile. We're not doing much for her birthday until after Halloween besides cake and pumpkin carving with the ward but we are planning a princess party for the little princess.
Happy Birthday again darlin'!!!!

I know I haven't posted in months and I need to update but it's been kind of crazy so I'll get to it soon enough.

The Time Has Come!!!!

He's finally walking, well sort of. He only does it when we help him start off or off of furniture but he is so cute. He looks very wobbly still and really does not seem to care much for walking. He does however like all the cheering!

Happy Birthday Baby Emmitt!!!!!!

June 25th,2009 Emmitt turned 1!!!!!
Emmitt was pretty rough on us at first but he's come along way. You would never be able to tell by his photos but he was a horrible baby the first six months. Between screaming, crying, refusing to sleep and spitting up continually I could not wait for him to get big. While I am glad the first six months are over I am sad he is already 1. He has eight teeth, is walking, is very determined and is one of the funniest babies I believe I have ever met. He is VERY hyper. He is always out of breath from playing and exploring. He laughs when we put him to sleep and thankfully loves to sleep. On long days he will even cry if we try to rock him instead of putting him in his crib. Last night he went into his room layed down on the floor then went and shut the door . When I lay him down in his crib we always play a game of peek a boo. I put the blanket over his face and he pulls it down and up as I say "peek a boo". He loves to eat even though he never gains any weight. He is our smallest baby ever. At 9 months he was below 5% for weight and below 15% for height. He took his first camping trip at 3 weeks and has loved adventure ever since. We are glad he joined us for this adventure we call life.
Happy Birthday Baby!

Poor Eliza, I mean poor Jaron!

So on Saturday we went on a quick bike ride. We rode to Stater Brothers to pick up something for dinner and on the way home Eliza passed out (she was on her second day with no nap). Poor Jaron, she fell right on to his lap and she stayed that way until we took her out. That bike trailer is already confining and then to have your sister fall asleep on top of you with that big helmet has to be uncomfortable but did Jaron complain? Nope, he just informed us that she was asleep and then when we got home he asked us to get her. He is so sweet and makes my days so much easier. Below are a couple of pics from when we got home. Our poor Eliza is wiped out.

I just love her!

My dear little Eliza is continually making me laugh and smile. I just wanted to write three little things down before I forget them and lose them from my memory forever.
1. The other day the kids were trying to get me to let them watch a movie that I told them was to scary and I don't remember exactly what was said to lead up to it but my sweet Eliza said "But he's a nice mean guy, mommy he's a nice mean guy." Maybe it was in the way she said it but I broke out in laughter. The things that girl comes up with!

2. So the past two weeks there have been so many people at the house. My brother was here with his family of four, my sister was here with her daughter and two friends of hers from Australia were all here staying in three bedrooms and a living room. This left my family in one bedroom which was very tiring. Anyhow Eliza has a Princess pillow that she had to sleep with while everyone was here, whether she was on the floor, in bed with us, or on the blow up mattress she had to have her princess pillow. Last night was the first night that the kids were all back in their own beds or supposed to be. I have no recollection of my own little princess crawling in bed with me at all (guessing that has to do with a lack of sleep from Emmitt being in the room with us and either waking up every hour throughout the night or wanting to play at 5am) but I woke up to her sleeping beside me with what else but that princess pillow she has come to love so much that when she crawls in bed with me from another bedroom in the middle of the night it has to come to. She looked so beautiful.
3. And last but not least is another thing she said to make me laugh. The kids asked for there vitamin and so I went to get it for them. With Eliza she gets a half but it is the same conversation with her every time. She always wants "a big one." So today I'm getting her her half and she tells me "I want a big one" and I offer her the half and then in return she informs me "I want a big one. I a big. I two" as she waves her two fingers so sure that it is true she is big, she is TWO. Her eyes pleading her case that surely she will now get a "big one."

My Silly Kids!

So the kids were being so funny Sunday night that I decided to video it on our camera which was sitting there so these aren't the best quality. It just kept getting funnier and funnier. Anyways here is two of our favorite clips of the kids last night.

Below is Jaron singing me a song because I can't go on the Dad and son camp out this coming Friday that Jaron is so excited about. That is Steve and I laughing in the background.

Here is Eliza singing "I am a Child of God". She is so cute. Sorry it is so bumpy I was trying to get the lighting better. I love her sweet dance moves. I think she is actually pretending to play guitar in part of it when she looks like she is scratching her chest/tummy area up and down a couple of times. That is how Jaron pretends to play guitar. Oh and I cut off the very end. Good job Mommy!

Well Emmitt didn't do any singing. In fact he slept through the whole thing but here is a cute picture of him anyways. He is so funny. He tries to say so many things already. Jaron didn't talk until Eliza was almost here. Emmitt says...
MAMA, DADA, MO...MO (this means more and almost always refers to food), and NO NO NO NO (I'm guessing I should say yes more).

Maybe, Maybe Not

Well since the economy has turned upside down we have pretty much decided not to build unless all else fails. However we have put a bid on a house that is actually only a few houses away from the property. It is on a lot and a half which is nice. The lots up there are pretty small. Anywho... it is a short sale which means the bank can take it's sweet time and being built in1963 it is in desperate need of some repairs and updates. But it would be ours. I love the floor plan and it has so much potential to be just what we want . Nothing is official yet. We can't even start escrow until that bank approves the price but we did get a verbal OK from the bank which is pretty meaningless until they sign the papers. But our fingers are crossed.
