Happy Birthday Jaron!!!!!

Well my baby turned 5! We celebrated his birthday almost 3 weeks late but hey we celebrated it. We did a small thing for him on the night of his birthday but on Friday Feb.12 we did a little party at the park with friends and cousins. We had a good time.

January 24&25
We were staying with my parents on Jaron's Birthday because our house had no electricity after the snow storm came and took out a ton of power lines including one on our street.

The last night of him being four :( !

In the morning I made him chocolate chip pancakes, one of his fav's.

A little celebration. Very unprepared due to the circumstances. He was on the phone with his cousins who were singing Happy Birthday along with us.

(Notice the same pajamas as the night before denoting we had a very limited amount of things with us and that it was late when all the chaos of the day allowed us all to be together to celebrate his BIG DAY!

February 12
The cake- Jaron doesn't like regular frosting, not even homemade chocolate frosting that everyone else loves (although he tries to be polite by insisting he does while eating around it so he doesn't hurt any one's feelings) and so I made this out of cool whip. A real ordeal but on your birthday ya get what ya want.

Eliza kept bringing Jaron and me the presents asking when he could open them. Isn't she cute?

And this is when Jaron and his friend Luca opened the present Luca had brought him with no one noticing until they were having a great old time playing with it. Janice and I just sat and laughed. Kids will be kids.
